State Rep. Tammy Townley, R-Ardmore, and State Rep. Ronny Johns, R-Ada, will host a public meeting on redistricting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 12, in Conference Room A at the Southern Oklahoma Technology Center, located at 2610 Sam Noble Parkway in Ardmore. The agenda is listed below.

The Oklahoma House of Representatives Redistricting Committee and its eight regional subcommittees will be holding a series of town halls throughout the state before the 2021 legislative session begins, to encourage public input in the redistricting process. By law, the Legislature must redraw its legislative and congressional district boundaries to reflect changes in population every ten years immediately following the decennial Census. The meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.

Townley is chair of the South Central Oklahoma Subcommittee. Johns serves as vice chair.

Jacob Rosecrants, D-Norman; State Rep. Danny Sterling, R-Tecumseh; State Rep. Emily Virgin, D-Norman; State Rep. Kevin West, R-Moore; and State Rep. Danny Williams, R-Seminole.

The venue requires all attendees to wear masks, undergo temperature checks upon entry and sign COVID-19 waivers.
