OKLAHOMA CITY – House Rep. Jason Lowe, D-Oklahoma City, released the following statement after District Judge C. Brent Dishman dismissed the Oklahoma County Jail trust’s case so state health inspectors shall be able to conduct surprise inspections of the jail.

“I applaud Judge Dishman's ruling to allow State Health Inspectors to conduct unscheduled inspections at the Oklahoma County Jail,” said Rep. Lowe. “Transparency is imperative to the health, wellbeing, and safety of those incarcerated at the facility and those who work there."
